The flexibility of Judy’s classes really works for me. I can join from home cutting travelling time, allowing me to squeeze classes in a busy life. The variety is great too: starting with just one class, and encouraged by Judy, I now regularly do step, weights and Pilates classes each week. Covid lockdown drove us all a little crazy but it also gifted me one of the most significant positive influences in my life in the form of the amazing Judy Jones.
I began on-line classes with Judy and found her highly knowledgeable and experienced. She continually provided encouragement and advice throughout every fitness routine. She does this with such a friendly charm that it becomes an easy and fun way to get fit (and importantly stay fit!). Those Lockdown classes have continued to this day and have given me a huge boost to my all-round fitness and health.

I have been coming to Judy for almost three years now. Meeting at the leisure centre and enjoying her Pilates class over the other offerings, we got speaking and I learnt Judy had her own private studio offering a multitude of classes and 1-1 sessions. What interested me most was that I could visit Judy for 1-1 Reformer Pilates, something I looked into previously but I was unable to afford due to sky high prices from other providers. I started with Judy, 1-1 Reformer once a month and I joined a group mat class on a Thursday before deciding to increase my 1-1 reformer sessions to once a week. I thoroughly enjoyed it and saw so many benefits that once a month was just not enough! For me, the experience at Judy’s private studio is far more superior than any mainstream gym I have visited. Judy knows me, she knows my body and she tailors our sessions so I can get the most out of them and continue to get better and stronger each week. Judy is a friendly, kind and warm person and without her wonderful personality mixed with her vast experience and knowledge it is likely Pilates would have just been another fad for me.

Judy is an incredibly dedicated instructor, I have attended Pilates classes in her home studio over the past few years and the difference it has made to my progress has been immeasurable. The small class sizes and fully kit out space means Judy is able to focus on all those attending individually and hone in on their different problem areas.
Judy truly cares about all those attending her classes and it has built a lovely small community that I look forward to seeing each week. Her studio is also very conveniently located within walking distance from my home which is definitely a bonus!

I started attending Judy’s studio two years ago as I had put on weight and been very inactive during the covid years. Judy has been so instrumental in my fitness journey and encouraged me to workout with weights and do Pilates to keep supple which is extremely beneficial for me as an older lady.

I first started Pilates classes with Judy 7or 8 years ago. Through her classes I have gained a lot of strength and knowledge about my body. A year ago I had to undergo major surgery. Thanks to Judy’s classes I was in a very strong position for this surgery and the recovery. This is not just my assessment. My fitness and strength was formally tested at the hospital before and after the operation and deemed exceptional. Judy is not only a very knowledgeable and experienced teacher but she makes her classes fun too. (Our laughter muscles are also well exercised!) I like that I can really grow my strength in her workouts and feel safe that her knowledge and experience will keep me from overdoing it. I am a recent attendee to her personal studio and love the experience. (Wish I had done this so much earlier.) It is really well equipped for both group classes and a 1-1 session, both of which I benefit from. The more personal attention has greatly accelerated my post operation strength. I am soon to be 70 years old but my strength from Judy’s classes keeps me younger. Her studio means she can keep offering people like me the fitness opportunities we need. We know we have a gem of a tutor. For the sake of our health and fitness we can’t afford to lose her.

Judy’s Pilates class in her studio has been fantastic, the class sizes are small which means she can give you 1-1 guidance, ensuring you get that ‘ rib hip connect’ to engage your core properly! Her MashUp class – a weights routine to music – is fun and for me preferable to a gym environment. Judy’s friendly and knowledgeable, I really look forward to her classes.

I have been going to Judy’s classes for over 20 years and I have always found them to be a good balance between a hard beneficial workout and enjoyment. She makes the sessions great fun, and is supportive to members of all levels of ability. It’s hugely more attractive to workout in her dedicated studio, as opposed to a borrowed facility – the place is always immaculate, and Judy strikes a great balance in terms of having enough people to have a good atmosphere while avoiding crowding.
